right behind the steering wheel column, theres a rubber seal that im sure mostly everyone breaks through, no worries of anything getting in.

so do i pop off one of the rubber spots for the wires in the engine bay and slip the wire in it and it should be right next to the steering column

On my 98 coupe v6 , it goes through the fender on the drivers side then I found a rubber thing I could take off of the left most side of the floor or whatever its called lol, a little high up you really half to stick your head in, and I had to put a string at the end with a loop then put a coathanger with a hook at the end and bring it in. Needed 2 people for what I did, I think I over-complicated it but whatever lol.

Go through any rubber grommet on the firewall. Basically just poke a whole in it and get the wire to go though. I did it down the passenger side because that's the side where the battery is.
