WooHoo, finally bought some coilovers

congrats on the buy!!! i remember seeing those for sale over on v6p...but the price for mileage was a huge turnoff...good luck with them!!!

yeah now that i look at it, i feel like i was too eager for coilovers and did get kinda ripped off. I honestly feel like i should offered him $350 shipped, but I guess I have to chalk this mistake for my lack of experience, and I can learn in the future to make better decisions. If I wanted to get the coilovers rebuilt can i take them to a local shock shop or do i HAVE to send them to Nex ?

you have to send them back to NEX, local shock shops dont rebuild coilovers. Besides the company, the only place that does it NATION WIDE suprisingly is a place down in FLA that this dude from AT recommeded me to.

and dont feel like ur ripped off because after u posted, googled NEX reviews, people with hondas say that they love their NEX coilovers. every negative review i saw came from VW and audi forums... try em out, see how they run and then take it from there. You dont have to rebuild them right away but if there is something wrong the go ahead. Apex called me back the other day and told me that i had a bent strut damper downlow so they fixed that for me free of charge

good buy for price, but like everyone else never heard of them. good luck with them thought dont forget to post pics & opinion. im been kinda eager too for some coilovers i was thinking of risking it & goin with megan racing ones dont know yet

Don't cheap out on suspension.

But all good. DIY!!! You'll learn a lot and save $ at the same time. I'm sooo glad I did and did the rears a second time for fun (and b/c I forgot one lil piece).
