he said the 60K miles was an overestimate,he said he had them for 3 years and the most he put them on were 40K miles or somewhere around there, so i feel a little better. But i been looking for full coilovers so long, i am finally excited i got a set.

Hey odiee so i have the nex SS coilovers ? So the SS and the GT are only types of coilovers nex ever made ?

I know nothing about this brand, but question for you:

Wouldn't it have made more sense to ask us our opinion BEFORE you bought them??

i did do research before them, but the info was very limited.
Nobody seems to know much about NEX.

Nex is like an Amazon/eBay brand. Nice price, not the best product. I would have bought something tried and true like F2, Ksport, etc.

Don't get discouraged, but I'm just saying I know they are not top quality.

Aren't NEX's kind of ****ty? And holy crap you are a brave soul spending $400 on coil overs with 60k+ miles, especially a brand like NEX.

If you decided to go with that brand, you should have just sucked up the extra $300 and bought them brand new.

60k is a lot of miles for a suspension. In all likelihood they are due for a rebuild of the shock valves, which at this price level also doesn't make any sense.

Honestly I can't beleive the guy had the balls to ask for that much money.
I'm sorry, but that is a sucker deal. I would try to get some of your money back and put it to something new or with a lot less miles. I can't see myself buying any suspension with more than 10-15k miles. We are talking about a high wear part. Would you buy brakes with 30k miles on them?:ugh:

Ive heard alot of mixed reviews about NEX... i hear unless u have the damper adjustable ones, the ride can be vary harsh. The ones WITH damper adjustable, ive heard nothing but "IT's OK" reviews for them. There are a couple i know with NEX and they say it rides really well so dont get discouraged just yet.

IMO, i bought my coilovers used (no offense to accordboi) but i sent them out 2 get them rebuilt because i guess he had a significant amount of miles on them and they started to go about a couple months after i had them on. Also because my area that i was traveling back and forth had very harsh roads so be weary... call up NEX and see if u can get a rebuild for an affordable price b4 u put them back on. my rebuild for all 4 was $300 with almost new everything. and it was being cleaned up like new so you might want to look into warranty stuff

i dont want to tell u its bad but i dont want to tell you its good. Full coilovers are recommended by all companies to be rebuilt every 3-4 years so those should be coming up soon.
