No problem man.

You could try to get one with a "limp dick" tip similar to our stock mufflers :lawl: or like what people run on s2000's.

ew no, you should live with cleaning the rear lip than resort to that :lawl:

I didn't even mean actual damage from heat, just soot build up that makes it look dirty. I don't think my friends have actual warped poly on theirs.

no no, you'd have to be running a super hot exhaust

especially on the street you'd be fine because you're not really working the exhaust to a high temp unless you're on a track or just beating the hell out of your tranny.

My magnaflow started burning the ww lip/paint within one day lol. But it was sitting well 1" behind the lip and pretty close to it.
Luckily I noticed it so went and got it extend from the cat. converter backwards so the muffler tip is flush with the most outer point of the lip.

yeah I meant if it's actually flush. If it's all pushed back like that the gas is going to be hitting the rear lip like crazy anytime the car is being driven :lawl:

damn hondas and their exhaust gasses:madrun:
Getting both front and rear lip repainted for free again due to that little burn and a small bubble from hitting crap on the highway lol. Starting to feel as if I'm ripping the paint guy off a bit but he's probably the first shop i've visited to be so avid about customer service and making it right.

Never seen that done, but I have also never seen any(WW + aftermarket exhaust) with heat damage.

Guess it depends on how close the exhaust sits to the lip.

From the looks of the pics 'tru' posted, rear lip seems fine.

I know Roy had some damage on his Xenon rear lip from the exhaust, but I never had issue with mine(exhaust + Xenon rear lip).

my exhaust is actually touching my rear bumper on both sides. the bumper has come off once or twice. I have 0 signs of burn marks, melting, or even debris from it and i don't even have a cat.

I'm unfortunately am getting burn marks as well. I just have a vibrant flat black muffler mounted right under my rear lip. When I do my cat back next summer, I will also get it extended abit.

I can deal with the soot, don't mind cleaning that up every so often.

May look in to getting the exhaust extended, but we'll see what happens. I was happy with how things went with the Xenon rear lip having no issues.

Appreciate the pics, feedback and suggestions.
