Drop: i have tein basics, expensive but well worth it for easy driving
Lip kit: i like a full Wings west kit.
Hood: with the dark color of the car, i'd say a cf hood

^^^ this is assuming your swimming in money

you might wanna think abt a new paint job; if ur gonna paint a lip kit, fr bumper, hood... you might wanna think abt throwing down a few more buxs for a full paint job

Brakes: Brembo blanks with Hawk HPS pads

thanks.

hoping the pro kit will be enough drop and that my shocks can handle it
thinking of just a front/rear lip and leaving it black for now
if i can't find a cheap oem hood (black), i might look into it. not really a fan of cf, though

and i'm def. NOT swimming in money. this is all gonna be on a budget.

i new paint job is not in the near future (if ever). since the car is black, i think the black abs lips will look alright unpainted.

brakes are def. not happening

thanks. it's a bit high :( hopefully a pro kit will fix that (i don't have money for coil overs).

the rims are actually pretty dark in person, and the silver lip compliments the silver trim on the car very well.

i love the look, and they were a good deal ($550, wheels/tires mounted, in brand new condition).

hopefully some day i can learn how to use a camera and get better pics :)

be careful, i don't support lowering springs on stock shocks. youll be buying shocks eventually anyways

cf on a black car will blend in nicely

yeah, i have been looking into it. seems people have had some success with the pro kit and stock shocks.

hopefully they'll hold out for a couple years, then maybe some tokico blues.

A couple years? I'd just save up a while longer and get the shocks if it was me.

updated original post.

here's my current plan:

all red tails (diy, spray tint)
black tyc's
drop (lowering springs)
98-00 coupe front end (bumper/hood)
"type r" grill

and then i'll be pretty content.

but if i do find more money:

lip kit
tint

updated the original post to show my TYC's and 0-60 vid with CAI converted to SRI.

next updates:

red tint on the top of my tail lights (on the way)
pspec shift knob/boot (on the way) hopefully i can make it work :)
new hood, possible coupe bumper/hood swap (searching junkyards) current hood is rusting and paint is chipping

and i'm still looking for a good deal on a pro kit!
