My friend put a XTD stage 3 on his DD aka completely stock 93 teg and it's now slipping after 2yrs. I mostly blame him for putting a stage 3 on what is basically a DD but what he thinks is a track car.

Hmm..ya. He said he needed it b/c he plans on doing track days and autoX and...everyone else I know that does those with a stock car uses their stock clutch so I don't quite understand his reasoning.

Except, he's done one track day and one autoX and he sucked at the AutoX

Hmm... I put a nice clutch in my DD and haven't had any issues in the last 45k miles.

Better to buy nice than buy twice!

I wouldn't go through the trouble if separating my transmission from the engine, only to install a ****ty clutch. The oem clutch is more than enough for even the basic I/H/E.
