Yellow fogs

Just got myself OEM fogs.. if i wanna paint it yellow should I paint the housing like my highbeam buckets? anyway to open it? or should i just paint the outside of it with the yellow glass paint + clear coat?

my friend have lamin-x on his civic and he said it burned a tiny hole on there.

i personally taped up the sides and spray painted the lense and that's it. well i guess either way will work

Got it for $144 shipped from handa-accessories.com, but my car is a coupe. Sedan's fogs cost more.. $194+shipping+tax(CA)

I guess I'm gonna just mask it and paint the lens then.. thanks.
and I was hoping to install it by myself, but it looks too difficult. Anyone know around how much it should cost to get them installed at a shop?

I got those OEM fogs for my sedan, as for insallation, I did those with my bro, it took us like 3 days cuz we didn;t know how to do all that wiring and stuff. but I'd say go for it, you will learn a lot.

Just get a pair of yellow bulbs like I did.

That way you don't have to worry about the paint heating up and discoloring, pealing or anything.
Also, with just replacing the bulbs, you don't have to worry about reflection problems or losing visibility due to painting the outer lense or inner housing
