When you put the pedal down and it feels slow at first but then kicks into high speed and takes off as if it was holding back before.

amen, you start off like a gma, then vtec kicks you in the pants just as you get going and fools you into thinking you just blew the doors off that housewife in a Camry....

You know you have a 6gen when...

-the sunroof has a habit of getting stuck halfway closed about once a week. (or every single time it rains)

-someone steals 2, NOT ALL 4 of your center caps. (factory alloys, WTF?)

-the coin tray drops change all down the back of the kickpanel if you hit the smallest pothole.

-if you have ever owned a USDM product, you thank god you can change your sparkplugs without taking half the Intake manifold and/or anything along the firewall apart.

-your biggest current ambition (AV6) is getting rid of that slushbox automatic.

-you do an LED dash swap just to get rid of that awful putrid green.

-no matter what you do, something rattles somewhere, but only when you are driving, the silence is deafening while searching for it.

-every other one you see is either riced to hell and beyond (20" n**ga rims + mismatched bodykit) or driven by someone as old as time itself.

-you still wake up every morning and pause to gaze at your car before getting in because, well, those lines + datass remind you why you bought her every single day. :hihi:

When every little thing that can go wrong with something simple does.

Like getting a replacement engine and after 10 days past warranty oil pump goes bad and the internals get fried.

Also for some reason when im driving it feels like the air is on but the knob clearly says its off but I still feel a tiny bit of warm air coming through. So I turn the dial to cold and I feel cool air instead. 6th gens are weird sometimes.

i get that all the time
