When I got my engine the downpipes where cut. I did use the TL headers and just bolted the accord downpipe. Soon down the line I will get a better headers and exhuast. But to answer your question, YES accord downpipe, MAYBE even headers (the j32 is basically a j30 stroked) I even used accord axles for now. I work on my car slowly so that was for testing purposes... so far so good. Since you are you going manual, I heard and read the rear header has a little bend for the mount or shifter cables? I forget which one.
GOOD LUCK cant wait to see yours with the 6speed
I had a question for you, when you put your j32 motor in your accord, did you use your stock j30 exhaust down pipe with the j32, or did you have to change it and use the j32 exhaust down pipe, I was wondering if the two down pipes are the same or is there a little bit of a difference in the two?
Just went on Amazon and got an LED emblem for $20 ($40 for front and back). Had to melt the others off with a heat gun, and the front one has two screws but then just ran a positive lead from the switch i put in where TCC would be if i had a V6, grounded it on the body and lit em up. be cautious though, i havent gotten a ticket yet, but ive had cops stop me in parking lots saying that the front and back emblems are illegal because blue is reserved for emergency vehicles.
Ahh I c what ur talking about, I didn't know u had an auto, yeah u should get the 6 speed, but remember the more u wait, the rarer the 6speeds get, I got pretty lucky when I found mine, ....but yeah that's what ima do, what clean swap did, ......I just came back from the Honda dealer ship n they told me it would cost $120 to reprogram the immo to the new ecu, so ima just wait until I'm done with the whole swap n then have it towed to Honda n just do it the right way
I have an auto j32 for now, looking and putting a few dollars on the side for the 6 speed.
Yes just like Cleanswap he had to extend it to the drivers side of the ECU,... I forgot the manual ECU has a smaller plug. The Extra clip I'am talking about is bigger on the auto. Sorry I don't have an extra clip for the manual ECU. As far as the chip just Google it you will see what I mean. But try to program it its safer and better than running an ECU with no chip.

Gotcha ya,....from what I know n herd, the cl-s dash wiring clip that plugs into the ecu, has more pins then the accord dash wiring clip, n there for I would have to chop the accord wiring clip off n rewire a cl-s clip onto it so that I can plug it into the cl-s ecu, exactly like what mr. Cleanswap's 03 cl-s engine & 6speed swap did, it shows exactly what he did in the pics, but I I can get a hold of him, to ask a couple of questions,.....what kinda of a swap did u exactly do?
The ecu chip removal is the only way. Get it programmed its better. Removing the ignition immo does not help. Thats just a reciever that sends it to the ecu. As far as a clip A I think it fits might need to rewire a few pins....there is a clip on the drivers side I have one if u need it
