Crank Position Sensor Hunt
supposidly in the h22 dizzy is the obd1 crank sensor. but i need to tap in the original crank sensor to the h22 dizzy. from what ive learn'd, right now the engine is cranking over, but the ecu cannot tell when tdc is happening. so its randomly firing until it finally fires over. yeah, that needs...- 9D9Ghost

thankyou very very much. and my suspisions are correct, that plug has been cut from my harness i do believe. i have the h22 in, and the f23 harness is being used on the h22. the alternator section of the harness is streched from the back to the front. and there are no pigtail ends comming off of...- 9D9Ghost

my accord is a 98, came with a f23 stock. now has a jdm h22a obd1. i need to locate the crank position sensor plug in on the factory f23 harness, so that i can tap it into the h22 dizzy. that is the main reason why the car is having a hard time starting. ecu cant tell when the h22 is at "TDC"...- 9D9Ghost

thats the issue im dealing with, the wiring is complete cut spliced and hacked! pluse we ran a compression check. two outers 130psi, two inners 70psi. im allready looking at rebuild kits for my engine. they are all about $300.00 for your basic rebuild kit.....- 9D9Ghost

well what'd ya know. just got a chance to drive the accord since i add'd the new 4 guage ground's. no more bogging... guess it was a simple case of not enuff groundings... case closed.- 9D9Ghost

there dosent appear to be any leaks. and i just cleand them up with brake clean in and out. then popped them in. did not know about greasing the tips. but they are not leaking at all.???? i am very curious as to what the solution would be. this thursday im going in for "tune" on the new p28ecu...- 9D9Ghost

if one of the injectors was firing improporly, then wouldnt it continue to bogg at any rpm? and as far as injectors size go's, if the new ones are bigger than the last, why would this problem exhist now? and i had no idea i needed to reset the ecu after changing the injectors...... is it a...- 9D9Ghost

before i put the 310cc's in. it had civic 235cc's in it. and it ran lean, but did not bogg down on take off's or under load. so i dont understand how its being affected now with bigger injectors, when before it was severly being choked off. engine is a 95jdm h22.- 9D9Ghost

well like title says, the car is bogging hella bad. if i get the rpms up on take off, its fine. then gettem up a lil bit for second and third, its fine. but if i take off normal, it boggs hella bad til around 3k, then it opens up and is fine. 5th on i5 is fine, as long as the car is not under...- 9D9Ghost

today, started ditching the civic injectors on my 99. and found a rat's nest of crappy soldering and dead end plugs. got the valve cover off and most of the engine harness removed from the front end of the engine. tomorrow, re-paint the valve cover. fix the idiotic wiring. put in the new...- 9D9Ghost
