    OEM Undertray?

    It's a lower splash guard/under cover. It was removed from my Dad's Accord since the clips and grommets went missing. Whenever he drove, the cover would drag and scrape along the road. It was a very annoying sound. Here's the ebay link

    It could be the alternator. Same thing happened to my sister's Nissan Sentra. Get it checked at AutoZone or some establishment similar to it.

    Attempting to put this $700 rebuilt BAXA tranny into the Accord. The sky darkened 2 hours later. This job will be put off til next weekend when I have time. The original tranny croaked at 295k miles. Not bad for a car that has been abused and not well-maintained. New torque converter...

    Noob here regarding fitment of the tranny

    Well...I saw a F23A for $550, but only 90 day warranty. Then I decided not to buy it. There's a local used $700 F23A1/4 tranny with 1 year warranty. 1 FREAKIN' YEAR! I rather risk the extra $150 for that warranty. Here's the F23A I was looking at.

    295,xxx miles. The automagic tranny finally clunked out as seen in this thread. This car was not well-maintained. I am not the owner. This car took abuse. It overheated, barely had oil changes at an interval, involved in a front-end collision, main relay kept having its solder melt,....etc. Too...

    UPDATE: Well...the tranny is out on the driveway. The case is caked with black grease. Mechanic friend removed the torque converter and out came metal shavings? Is that normal? There was also metal shavings on the tranny drain bolt.
