    02 trans excluded from extended warranty?

    Anybody know why the 02 AT was excluded when Honda extended the 00-01 trans warranty to 100K miles (dealer didn't know when I asked)? Was a defect fixed? Also, if you had an AT die past warranty did Honda Corp pick up some of the cost?
