FS: Need to sale KMS retainers, springs, and guides! for F23

Re: Everything is going in the trash. Buy it now Regarding the gauge cluster, do all of the lights work (specifically odometer backlight and gear indicator lights)? Is the speedometer needle fairly accurate (mine is way off, although my odometer is not, so it's just the needle itself that's off)?

    Strange Noise in Front End

I have what sounds like the exact same problem. It started maybe a couple weeks ago, but it doesn't worry me enough to get it checked out right away. Best I can tell, it's from the right front passenger wheel, or that area anyway. For me at least, it only seems to happen when I turn right...

OEM 6th gen Accord coupe floor mats

I recently bought some here for about $85 shipped: http://handa-accessories.com/accint00.html

What do you think about State Farm's new In-Drive program?

Well, there aren't really "tiers" of drivers. If you're in the mutual company, that's that. They use some sort of credit rating, but that has nothing to do with what kind of driver you are. So I'm curious to what they'll do with the data, but at this point, I don't think something like that...

What do you think about State Farm's new In-Drive program?

I completely agree, but for people like me who drive pretty efficiently anyway, it's not like I suddenly can't enjoy driving anymore. It could be a nice incentive to get better gas mileage, too. I wouldn't really consider it in the first place if it weren't for that 10% discount right away. I...

What do you think about State Farm's new In-Drive program?

Full disclosure: I work part-time at a State Farm office, but I gain nothing whatsoever by telling you about this, so please don't think I'm advertising. I'm genuinely curious what people here think about this. If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is it: http://www.in-drive.com/sf...

    Need Help Identifying Parts

Those plastic pieces in back with the red circles are tail lights.

What'd you do to your accord today?

Today I restored my headlights. I wetsanded with 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper, then used Turtlewax Polishing Compound and Scratch Remover, and finished with Meguiar's PlastX (plastic cleaner and polish). My headlights weren't all that bad to start out with, but up close there was definitely...

    Honda Automotive Database App.

I gave it a try today. There's certainly a ton of information in it, but I just don't think it's all that useful to me as an app. If I really need to know the exact displacement of my engine, I can Google it on my computer. :)

    High Mileage 6th Gens

My '00 V6 sedan just hit 140,000 miles a week or two ago; I've put on about 8,000 in the seventh months since I bought it. The original [as far as I know] transmission still seems pretty fine to me, and it's incredibly clean inside and out (well, except for a lot of small, annoying marks on the...

    Accordingly's 1998 Accord EX Sedan *56k*

Very nice car--it's so clean! What kind of emblem is that on the trunk? It looks like a gray/silver/white backplate, but it's hard to see from just that one picture. It looks really nice, and now I'm thinking I'd like that on mine.

    Painting calipers

The dust is a good point I keep forgetting about. I don't know if I'll actually paint mine anyway, but I saw this thread today and am inspired. I'd go with something conservative like black or maybe a darker red, but it seems relatively simple to do, and I think it'd be a nice, clean touch to...

    LiveCreamlife´s 98 Accord Sedan EX (56k) - Argentina

I like the black floor mats with the tan interior. I have leather, but otherwise it's the same as me. :D I replaced my floor mats a month or two ago because I had three old OEM mats and one mismatched non-OEM one (driver's) that came with the car when I bought it, and I decided to go with black...

Now I'm super curious about white, too. I feel like that would look really clean if done right.

    ***HGUZMAN90's 00 ACCORD v6***UPDATED PICS No 56K ***

Re: ****HGUZMAN90's 00 ACCORD v6 That winter photo in the original post is incredibly nice. Wintertime always seems to make good photos. I love the red/clear taillights. I'm inspired to get some for my car.

    FS: honda center caps

Any idea if these will fit stock 6th gen Accord rims? If you have a picture of them on some wheels, that'd be helpful, too.

So it has. Well, it's hardly an issue, no big deal if it doesn't get fixed.

Logo link broken on home page

If you're on the site's home page (either just 6thgenaccord.com or www.6thgenaccord.com/cmps_index.php, which are the same thing), clicking on the logo gives you a 404 error. It goes to 6thgenaccord.com/index.php, but should probably just go to 6thgenaccord.com. Not a big deal, but I thought...

Hello! New to 6th gen 165k maintenance suggestions ?

Hi there! I would certainly recommend getting that timing belt changed. Our cars have interference engines, which means they'll get destroyed if the belt breaks. If the oil hasn't been changed recently, it couldn't hurt to just do that, too. Also, I would highly recommend a complete...

Your Accord Purchase, when and why?

Purchased: January 2011 Reason: I was looking for a first car. My family has had Hondas for the past ten years ('00 Odyssey, '03 Accord, '09 Odyssey), and they've all been excellent, so I was hoping for a good price on an Accord or maybe a Civic (a nice Camry would have been okay, too). My...

Whats your MPG on a full tank?

Re: what is your MPG??? I have a 2000 V6 also. I drive probably 80-90% highway (55mph rural roads), and I've averaged just barely over 25mpg for the time I've had the car (since early January of this year). It's just me in the car more often than not, and the rest of the time it's usually one...

    Drawer for Second DIN Slot?

I've seen at least one person who did most of the interior lights. Not sure who it was. I'm not sure I have the ambition to do all of it, especially when I have to sand off that blue film and all, so for now I'll just keep being inspired without actually doing it. :P

    Drawer for Second DIN Slot?

Haha, that makes sense. It does look pretty excellent even from the picture. Can you dim the LEDs for the gauges with the dial?
  24. C

    Drawer for Second DIN Slot?

Wow, your LEDs look incredibly nice. Does it seem a whole lot better inside in the dark with white LED's instead of yellow incandescents? The pictures show it well, but it's hard to really get a feel for what that's like. I'm not sure I have the ambition to do all of that, but I'll have to...
