Yeah it went fine. I just picked up my not-so-preferable OEM oil pan. it's tapped and ready to go. So plan for today is to install oil pan, bolt on the intercooler and bumper, and adjust the timing. Then it's time to start it up and adjust boost. Then take it easy until tomorrow or Wednesday when I can get it tuned..

Are you using silicon or a gasket for the oil pan? If you using silicon do not tighten it down to hard. It will leak.

Nate, I am using just Hondabond, the grey kind in the black and red tube. I guess rule of thumb is tighten the bolts up by ratchet until snug, then one more extra half-turn of ratchet and it's good. I have heard many horror stories and problems with oil pans. I am hoping that it works out for me. I'm about to leave and start this, so I'lll check in later! I'll give you a ring later and let you know how it went.

Mad teaser update.. good news is that it's up and running, idling perfect! Just gotta retard the timing tomorrow and cut the bumper to accommodate the intercooler. Bad news is that there are running videos but you won't see them till tomorrow!! Gooodnight 6GA!
