nice!!! glad I'm not the only one with plans for Time attack in my accords future. corner balancing is a definite plus. we learned alot about it in my motorsports chassis fabrication class. all the info akoutmos posted is correct.

Autocrossing the accord is super fun. Even though i don't have an LSD it actually did pretty well compared to the competition. Best thing you can do is get a nice set of tires, and practice, practice, practice.

Gonna go up there today to identify which holes need to be welded up, and finish de-gunking the engine bay. Hopefully going to start the welding too.

Filled in a bunch of small holes in trunk with JB Quick Weld yesterday, so going to shave them and see how it comes out, hopefully none fall out and are really well molded after I sand them. I couldn't get my hands on a welder to fill them in for real, plus I didn't think there was any real need. This is for cosmetics, not structural integrity. Gotta get more JB Weld and finish filling in holes inside the car, then the engine bay. Anyone else ever done this?

I read some good things about JB Weld, because it basically turns into a metal, and is easily sandable for a good finish. Also it doesn't crack or contract/expand with temperature as other fillers would.

Also, JB Weld is much lighter than real welds, and result is only for cosmetic purposes just like a real weld would be.

Hey man,

No, its taking longer because of lack of finances. I am about to pass the NCLEX to obtain my nursing license and get a position. Once the paycheck comes in, this project is going to take back off at lightning speed lol. I'm thinking September or so.
