if your looking for a speed machine the accord isnt for you. if your looking for a refined but sporty car, your all good. if you have the money the best think you can do for an accord is swap in a j32 with a 6 speed and supercharge it (close to 10k). but if your looking to get into the 13's without that, u need a mustang or something

your car is not a lost cause. My car (4cyl auto) is a lost cause.

This is what's popular with the v6 crowd and they actually work.

Intake( V2, or comptech icebox), Headers ( comptech, dcs, meagan), STOCK EXHAUST, UR crank pulley, CLS Cams, CLS throttle body, Unichip.

this will probably net you a good 30-40 hp. on top of your 200 thats more than enough power. Youll probably running low 15's high 14's.

dont give up hope.

those upgrades cost about 1300$ for 30hp isnt that bad.

total=1500+the cls parts and youll get a noticable n/a hp increase

im spending that much to get to less hp than av6's have stock.....sigh...money pit.

used. worth every penny.

I think v2 alone out gained my header/high flo cat/ exhaust.

Id never buy an intake new. Only thing that gets worn is the filter.

check out v6p they have a few used ones on sale.

i like the accord cause its like a sporty cruiser. its got good steering, braking, and handling responses, its comfy, doesnt get you weird looks for being another civic trying to be fast, and has enough potential to be a quick, well-balanced car. if you want something faster, buy a civic and drop a b18 into it. when i first came here, i was like, why would anyone want to mess with an accord? but now, i see it as a nice all-around car. plus my insurance is $53 a month cant get that with a dsm turbo or "jdmz y0" civic.
