Re: Cliffsta's 1999 Sedan EX 4-Cylinder (56K) New Local pix Pg. 4!

The Professors are cool, 5 spoke is cool. Its just a personal preference thing, really.

Glad I answered your question.

Re: Cliffsta's 1999 Sedan EX 4-Cylinder (56K) LOWERED + swaybar Page5

Finally took my car out of the 4x4 club and got it lowered.

Also grabbed the Acura TL 20mm rear swaybar

After a raise and promotion I've finally had time to take some shots with the drop and the 6GA decals

Bought it used with only 3k miles from a member here for $300 shipped, then I paid the shop to put it on with my Acura TL rear swaybar.

I love 'em. The car rides GREAT. Its definately a tad stiffer but its definately not uncomfortable. I think with a slightly better shock than the KYB GR2 they would be perfect. I know the KYB wasn't designed for lowering springs but the car rides and handles EXCEPTIONALLY. The ride still blows me away. Louisiana has paved trails for most roads and I don't mind the ride... the lowness is more of a problem than the ride quality IMO. They handle very well, but I think that's largely due to the Acura TL rear swaybar. I have thrown the car into some turns at 60mph and it feels great to jump the back end loose and still have control... I've carved a few tight twisties and its held the road. I can't wait to take it to a road course and let loose.

UPDATE!

I've been gone from here for a while, but I'M BACK!!

Just got two new tires for the front. Fuzion HRI 215/45/17... Kinda broke and the shop said these are a comparable tire to my Sumitomo HTRs... in 6 mos I'll swap the other two Sumitomos for Fuzions.

Been on the factory CRAP wheels for the last year because I was too broke for tires... SOO happy to be back on my Motegis!!!!!

Also replaced the APC filter with a K&N cone filter. Haven't noticed any difference in performance, though it is a tad louder than before.

Trying to decide on taillight options that aren't ricey but aren't just plain. Thinking of the LED taillights that have stock brake/tail appearance (with LEDs of course) and the smoked turn signal/reverse section.

Anyways, some pics to prove I'm not lying!

My driveway is very slanted; the car doesn't have as bad a boatlook as this pictures make it seem.
