G23 accord...

Hey what's going on everyone? I've been on this site for a few years but wasn't able to be an active member due to a crazy situation that happened to my original 99 accord. I sent it out of state to TN and I got it back with a bunch of parts that I couldn't get anything for at a scrap yard. Now 6 years have gone by and I have 2 accords, and a wife with plenty of kids so I have to get a minivan soon too lol.. 1 is a 2002 g23 all motor setup. My original baby, 99 accord will be a g23 turbo setup. Through all the pain and sleepless nights I've always wanted to see my project completed. I'm more than halfway there. I"m open to suggestions and opinions too. The 2002 I don't want to draw too much attention but would like it to stand out. The 99 is back in the shop being painted I need some opinions there. I'd also like to buy retros from a trustworthy person on this site. I'll try to post vids and pics, if I can't do vids send me your email I'll send them. (both are sedans) lol....

and why on the g23 builds i have seen that torque specs are not that great vs the f23?
When do you expect the turbo project will be done, very interested

thanks for the encouragement... on this black accord I just want to maybe put rims and that's it. I did expect a lot more torque Erick.. it was a little bit of a bummer but after destroying an audi a4 on the highway i wasn't complaining. lol. I'm debating on finishing the turbo car this year.. It's going to cost me a lot to build it right lol. earliest it'll get done is late this summer. Latest would be nov/dec. I hope to represent the 6 gens right...

Amazing builds man. Can't wait to see your progress and more pix/vids of your cars! I've always looked up to G-builds, because I have always wanted to do one myself. One day maybe it will happen, but not before I finish building this F!

Russian Red, it just takes time in building and doing everything right so you don't have to do it again. I had a h22 in the 99 but I had so many issues, it sucked... Mainly trying to fabricate the driver side mount but it led to so many broken sensors, ripped wires cracked manifolds.

Thanks pizzaman and champ, i definitely appreciate it. People look at our accords like they suck and are slow. For me it s not a civic, I had one but sold it. I prefer my accords, a lot more unique and not everyone is looking to steal one. Lol...

Elite, my setup is a stock f23 bore block with rsx type s pistons and stock accord rods, h22 head, mild pnp, supertech valves, springs, retainers, sk2 stage 3 tuner series cams, tri y headers, world sport 2 catback.. The tranny was swapped out with the h22 gears. The ecu is running off a s300.

On the dyno I was nervous, 1st pull was only 189 horses lol. I thought at best I would have seen 215 but at 236 I can t complain. I don t know how true it is but someone from the shop told me the dyno can be off 8-9 in horsepower so I might be in the 240 range. That's based off of the numbers and mph, their cars pull at the track.
