Maint Req'd light flashes for 5 seconds when starting

PEOPLE.....

DOn't confuse the Maintaince light with the Check Engine Light

In this pic, The yellow arrow is pointing to the CEL
The other light on the right side of the CEL is the maint. Req light

To reset your maint. Req light
1) hold down the trip reset button
2) turn key foward to on position....BUT DO NOT START THE CAR
3) hold reset button for 10 seconds/until light goes out
4) turn car off, release button.
5) start car and light should be out

na, it wasn't a CEL. i THOUGHT it was a CEL but my mechanic also checked on the o2 sensor, said it was fine. wonder how the person from autozone got that code. haha

Often times people at autozone have no idea what they're doing lol. Took my friends eclipse there yesterday. They didn't know how to plug in the obd2 reader. Then when I did it for them and got the codes, they looked it up wrong on the computer, doh. Simple mistakes, but if I wasn't there my friend would have believed his computer was going bad all day long lol.
