My Retrofit

Well guys.

Armour Etch didn't work :( Turns out there is certain types of glass it doesn't work on, and the Morimoto lens are one of them. The one guy that used did his lexus used Armour Etch, so I don't know what the differences are. You can only see a faint outline in incredibly small angles. Putting a light to it didn't make it anymore visible so I'm not going to waste my time on the other one. Here's results:

On scrap glass that came in kit

What you see on the lens cannot be seen from any other angle.

I still have two die cut vinyl stencils if anyone wants them for free to try on another brands lens.

They are 2.5 inches square so centering on this lens was easy. The logo it self is 1 inch in width and .83 inches in height. Which stays true to the Honda logos ratio.

Sorry to disappoint fellas. Just gonna be a normal retrofit.

I've just been wondering, would using a sandblaster be a possibility? I etched a vase once with a sandblaster and some masking tape.

^ Not gonna try anymore. Sealing them right now and just calling them done.

Even though the etching didn't work out... Still a nice pair of headlights.

Like I said, if anyone wants to try I'll send you the stencils for free.

You can only black out the high beam bucket if you don't plan to use them.

Since I'm running Bi-Xenon, what'd be the point? So once all is good I'll just have a bulb in there doing nothing.
