Probably not necessary.. I didn't do any extra sealing . You can if you want I guess.

So I don't need extra sealing around the screw hole or anything when I run the wires through?

I ran my Bi-x Thru the headlight hole where the cap was, and then thru the rubber boot, I had to use butyl, I fogged massively, but I also cut the OEM stuff when I removed it

I have lots of butyl. So I guess I'll do the same and just seal it around the wire and rubber boot. Because with the wire through the rubber boot just wants to come up.

Maybe I should poke a hole through the boot for the wire... Then the boot would sit where how supposed to and I would only need to seal that hole... I don't know.
