the PC7424 is just about as versatile as DA's come. you really cant go wrong with one..i stongly suggest one for anyone just getting started. just dont pick up a rotary until youve got plenty of practice.
in terms of product, for compounds Megs M105 is just about the only compound I find myself using.
However I've found that M205 just isnt that great unless youre using a DA like the PC or the Meguiars unit. Together they make a good 1-2 punch for a quick compound/polish combo
I still wont use M205 though, even with my PC. I stick with Menzerna products.
My details normally consist of:
-M105(yellow/wool pad)
-Menzerna Power Finish(green/white pad)
-Menzerna Super Finish(Blue)
-Menzerna Power Lock (black)
After that the power lock cures, i top it off with a nice thin layer of Lusso Oro or Collinite 915
If anyone's looking for a suggestion on products I own and have used a ton over time. I get all my stuff from

theyre acually local to me but Phil ships all over the country. He carries what i've experienced to be the best products out there and theres always some sort of special
