yea i painted my coupe the lexus pearl white.. gonna cost you more than 250 for supplies, cost around 200 just to have enough pearl to cover the car. Paint is even more expensive, unless you cheap out and want the white to fade to yellow after a couple years. Price of paint has doubled in the last couple of years, its not at all as cheap as it used to be.

True, but he works at a body shop and is using BASF Glasurit so he's not skimping on quality by any means. He didn't say the materials cost $250, that's just his price with a tremendous employee rate.

$200 is the employee price for a paint job here at my work regardless of what style paint you want to use. You could do a single stage white or a 3 stage metallic of pearl that may cost $1000 in materials. I threw the $50 in there for clips and stuff ill have to replace along the way.

Definitely will keep everyone updated on the paint progress.
As of right now, the car is pretty much fully taken apart and most of the bigger door dings and whatnot are all taken care of. Hopefully by the end of this week it will all be done

As of yesterday this is how the car sits. Still minor things that need to be finished like primering over the mud/metal spots, finish up with the driver side door, hood is now off and being worked on as well.
