Hey guys i need some help. I live in GA, and I have a 98 accord 4cyl and i want to convert from AT to MT, but the problem i have is that i was told that i cant due to the state emission cause the car computer will not read properly. Is there anyway i can go around it the legal way? Thanks in advance

this thread is for making your auto shifter LOOK like a manual. there is info on this site for whats needed for a swap. you'll need to swap out your ECU (car computer) for one programmed for a manual transmission unless theres some other way to do it. check out www.importatlanta.com/forums or calling your local honda specialist would probably give you the quickest answer
