Not a fan of soldering either. $20 isnt too bad a price. My problem is with the dealer cutting my key. Ive asked them before and they wouldnt even consider it. All i got was, "No. No. No."
Couldn't agree more... Seems like $100-$160 + headaches + ruining your spare key for no added benefit, and it seems to take up more space than the key+remoteWhy are you guys so obsessed with these keys?? Are ya'll dropped yet??
Can a person just use the chip set in the old key fob and relocate the buttons via soldering to new positions so that they line up with the buttons on the new key fob, then get the switchblade key cut ?
