Finished shaving all the old silicon off the inner barrels. Just need to take some mineral spirits to the valve stems, which the previous owner also got purple paint on.

Lips should be arriving today...I can't wait to get home from work. :run: I told my wife not to leave the house until they arrive, just in case they require a signature, haha.

Washed the car since this is the only day I can. Painted my airbag flat black and installed the mdx steering wheel.

test fitting the airbag and cruise control:

Nice job, that looks great.

Just HAD to show you were wearing shorts while doing this, eh? (it's cold here)
Picked up another Yakima fairing that Milkman shipped for me. Gonna swap out the Hawaii mapped one until I can get that removed.
Hawaii mapped?

Hawaii mapped?

Yeah, remember the fairing I got had the map of HI on it? I haven't gotten it off, so, I picked up another fairing that has nothing on it.

So, we are getting closer with getting the wheels done. Good stuff.

Ah that's right.

Lips were delivered, I might have to feign an illness and gtfo. :lawl: I'll clean the valvestems tonight when I get home from work, otherwise everything is good to reassemble. I am putting together at least one of the wheels tonight, probably a rear so I can see the difference with the deeper lips. I haven't been this excited about anything related to my car for quite awhile. :gride:

Wheels will be finished by the end of this coming weekend if not sooner. Still looking for tires.

Was parking at UofL and saw an extremely attractive chick in a 98-00 coupe with OEM Fogs. I parked next to her and she gave me the thumbs up.

I think I'll be getting to know her very soon

Found out my accord, Guzzles fuel above 95+mph.
Not that bad holding 110 in an i4. Only time I'm ever gonna do that though. Bit jumpy with how soft the suspension is.

They look really nice man, right at home on your sedan. Awesome choice…such a good looking, sporty, split-spoke wheel.

So they are 8” wide front and back? I remember you saying your seller had a 18x8.5 set too. If you had 18x8 f and 18x8.5 rear that would be sweet haha.
