I'm not sure if there's a thicker Acura or other Honda model sway bar, that can be swapped onto our Accords.

anything for the 2nd generation acura CL or TL would be a direct swap, and 3rd gen TL rear sway bars can be fitted to the 6g accords. if you have a i4 sedan, you may have to bend one exhaust hanger a little bit as it would make slight contact with the rear sway. not sure if that's true for every 3rd gen TL rear sway bar, but for the larger Progress rear sway bar, i had to bend the hanger slightly.

a lot of people just upgraded the rear sway and that made the handling pretty good, that's all i did on my last accord and it was a great improvement over the stock bar.

I’ve had a tl strut brace bar for a while and it’s been working great. Really takes out the boaty body roll the cg has up front. I noticed a massive increase in handling when cornering a little harder than I should. Plus it takes like 5 minutes for to install it. Thanks for the compliments on the headlights and thanks accord x for sending them to me in such awesome condition. But yea Harry’s has like 4,599 accords and tls so you could always find one there for hella cheap. Mine was like 13 bucks.

Dang I've been looking for a TL-S strut bar for a while now every time I go to the junkyard and they'll probably charge me $30 if I find one. Glad you're happy with the headlights too

Yeah, I need to make a trip up there sometime. What I really need to pull from a junked car, is a radio from a 3rd gen Prelude. Though I'm not too sure how common those are to find in a bone yard, compared to my other three cars, lol.

We have so many here there starting to crush them. For some reason the tl and the cg seem to be the most junked car here and the funny thing is 99% percent of them don’t have body damage. They had a/t issues so owners just junk them.

There’s about 4 third gens and 2 second gens last I checked. I took the injector harnesses off a third gen when I had my h23a1 but the funny thing is they don’t allow people to take cars out if the yard. There was a 5th gen h22 prelude that was mysteriously gone the next day. I managed to get the throttle body before it vanished which is what I have on my f20b now

No Preludes popped up when I searched their inventory, for Hazleton and Allentown. Looks like they do have an '87 JDM Acura Legend and a '91 USDM Accord though. The radios from those might fit the Prelude...

Sorry, not trying to jack your thread lol

I guess they crushed them. They were in a high traffic area where cars get crushed pretty quickly. Probably realized no one needed parts off an 87 prelude lol

Update : finally deleted the power steering and added the splash shields. The undercarriage tray is from a 2017 accord and is way more substantial than the one from 99 lol. I was so tired of water/road garbage getting all over the engine. I also changed out the air filter and hood. Water was getting under the hood as well. These fenders are definitely next on the list.

good ol' bacon fenders! :lawl:

that new under tray lined up with some holes, or you basically just had to make your own mounting points for it? definitely looks better than the 6th gen one though. i ripped the one off of my last accord, it was just getting dragged everywhere anyway because of how low the car was, so into the garbage it went :lawl: definitely allows a lot more dirt into the bay though, only downside.
