I got my done from my machanic for $550 include all the seal, TB/WP and other belt done.

heel naw dont pay the dam stealership anything a timing belt and the water pump only cost 180 at the most dont let them screw you a around get a small mechanic to do he will probalby do for around 250
Ok, called and found a local shop that was highly recommended. They told me it would be around $400. I asked if they used honda OEM parts, but they said they used NAPA parts on all their timing belt changes. They said they could use OEM, but it might cost more. Does it really matter? I mean, if NAPA was selling junk belts there would be some big probs. right. Man! I feel like such a noob! haha, Ive only been on this site for 3 years.lol

360 for everything the two belts on my 4 cyl water pump ps belt and alter belt and all gaskets and tentioner for 360 installed honda dealer quoted me 900 installed

Buy the OEM parts yourself from a dealership and bring them to the mechanic. I wouldn't trust a non-Honda OEM timing belt. it's just too critical to the engine to go cheap on. You should be able to buy t-belt and water pump for around $150 or so from the dealership. The mechanic will probably try to tell you the parts cost $300 if you don't bring them in for him to put on. That's just the way it goes. I don't know why they are allowed to mark up parts like that. I have heard of stealerships installing spark plugs and charging people $25 for each plug (part price-not including the labor they charged to install). You can buy OEm NGK double plats for our 6th gens for $9 at Advance Auto Parts and change the plugs with simple hand tools in 10 minutes.

I would have suggested that^, but......
I normally love Majestichonda and I buy parts from them often. But on some parts, if you include the shipping Majestic charges, it is actually cheaper to get the part at the dealership at the marked up price. I believe that was the case when I bought my tbelt & water pump. it would up being cheaper overall if I just went to the dealer and bought the parts myself instead of paying like $25 on shipping.
