Before I get started: my trunk is shaved = No keyhole...

I use my car for work and I guess I loaded too much crap in the trunk one day and something came loose. The keyless fob stopped opening the trunk. I could still open by the release lever on the floor of the driver's footwell, but that was it. I was fiddling with it one day and flipped something up and way from the latch and then the trunk closed by accident. Now the lever does nothing. I feel no resistance when pulling the lever to open the trunk. I am going to have to climb in the trunk and figure this out, but was hoping someone could link me to a diagram of what I should be looking for or maybe a picture of the inside of the trunk on a coupe. I'm 6'5" so the least amount of time I spend in the trunk of my car, the best.

S* that sucks man, I have no clue either.. I would climb in if you can't find the answer, a good headlamp or flashlight would help bigtime. Just wanted to say props on teh car, I see just from your sig that you got some uniqueness going on.. Those Supra tails??

there is usually an emergency pull switch towards the left of the trunk... Left or right but im pretty sure drivers side so left, its government policy that all vehicles have those emergency trunk release just incase some1 gets locked in the trunk (if you happen 2 be a kidnapper) to open the trunk. then you can take it from there

That law did not get implemented until 2002 or 2003 model year passenger cars. So...no.
