Yeah it is hard to grasp, but people need to understand its not just about power to weight ratio or track times. Its more about gearing ratios and driver error.

1. It's ALL about power to weight ratios. Along with gearing, that determines your track times.

2. You are at a disadvantage with gearing. Your 4 gears are not as efficient as any 5-gear setup.

3. An auto Accord with a 75 shot will not run a 13.9 1/4 mile.

4. Are you trying to say he might have missed a gear or two?

If you guys havent notice, when my nitrous kicks in it kicks in hard. And for you guys out there that dont know, the 350z 3rd and 4th gearing ratio is pretty bad, but once 5th kicks in it does wonders towards my auto.

How 'hard' your nitrous kicks in is not a factor. It's not like it peaks at 150 shot then continues at a 75 shot.

And since you'll probably consider me part of the band-wagon now, I might as well indulge...

Your dyno chart seems a bit... inflated. 136whp, 127wtq. Those numbers are more than 15% higher than other automatic Accords with similar mods. Not to mention that nice little gear change that gave you a false peak reading at 6550rpm that looks to be an extra 10hp higher than the rest of the rpm band. Torque doesn't appear to have been affected. All that was beyond your control though. Not your fault. If that were the case though, your 183whp, 201wtq reading would be inflated as well.

The numbers just don't add up. Any plans to take her to the track? Maybe a video next time? I love seeing Accords whoopin up. :)

ok listen, it has alot to do with the drivers. my friend in the z, well he is a complete dumbass, and the accord never beat the z, but it stayed with it. he very well could have missed a gear, **** he was chirping his tires on the dyno that very same day that he dynoed his so. and even when i ran another buddies spec v last night, which sc2jz was there for, he would beat me when i had a passenger, but i would beat him when he would have that very same pass. he also was downshifting, and i would rape him, but when he wouldnt downshift hed pull me. so the driver matters alot.

it has everything to do with power to weight, i make more hp then his accord, but he easily has over 500 less weight then i do, and it sucks bc he pulls me pretty hard. and uh if you are in d3, you can take the accord to 115. i did it last night running a spec v, if your in d3, it will go to 6000rpms and stay there for a minute, that is the tq convertor, and that is the jump in both of our dynos at the end. IT WILL GO TO 115, and if you dont believe me try it your self. BUT.... if its in d4, it wont go anywhere close to that, ive noticed that a few times.
