So I was about to order these:
http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/M...ore_Code=EM&Product_Code=BC01-SFC177042410-WR

And I realized its only provided in 4x100 lug pattern unless you have a 5 lug accord. My car is 4x114.3 so naturally these won't fit. I called Buddy Club and the only provide custom jobs for shops that want a specific copy in bulk.

This SAYS universal but its from projectnissan so who knows:
http://www.projectnissan.com/shopping/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=57&idproduct=843

I need to either get a lug adapter or a new hub. I know there are stories out there about lug pattern adapters and problems they can have but is that just hearsay or does anyone have undisputed proof? Any suggestions on my next step?

adapters wont really work unless you get ones thick enough to cover the whole studs and the lug nuts.

just find a different wheel. its not worth the hassle to really change the hubs just to have 4x100 spacing.....if you can even do that

You cant use a different hub. Find a new wheel, I wouldn't trust adapters.

Just look for a different wheel.
It's really not worth the hassle or modification for just a set of rims.
I'm sure there's a manufacture that has those rims with a 4X114.3 bolt pattern

I had called Buddy Club USA since they are the sole provider of their own wheels, and they said I could be on a waiting list until the end of October if I wanted them with the right lug pattern. I think I'll do that, I've waited a while for these so I can wait a few more weeks.

This may be a dumb question with an obvious answer but when these say 4x100 to 4x114.3 adapter does that apply to 4x100 to 4x114.3 adapting AND vice versa? I would think it would.

no, it wouldnt. adapters are STRICTLY ONLY what theyre advertised as.

if it says 4x100 TO 4x114.3, it is ONLY that.

adapters will not work on our cars with the way the hubs are set up. unless, like i said before, you get some ridiculously thinck adapters (which im sure they dont even make), and im talking thick as ****. theyre mainly for cars that have lug studs, such as vw's, bmw's, audi's, porsche's, etc.

Thick adapters like these (1 inch)?

4x114.3 (Hub) to 4x100 (Wheel) 25mm (1 Inch) 4 Lug Conversion - 71mm Hub Diameter

Lug studs... as in lugs that stick out further? The description says that it comes with "Pressed In 12x1.5 Studs". Would this not suffice?

I understand the sentiment, but has anyone actually tried these and from experience know of the reasons not to use them? I abandoned the idea of using them a while ago after I fell in love with a set of Kazera KZ-C wheels, but realized Tire Rack stopped listing them, until I found a set on ebay, but in 4x100 fitment (here).

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figured I'd search before making a new one.

a correction to my quoted statement....adapters would only work on our cars if the wheels youre putting over the adapter have holes or notches on the back of its hub so that the wheel studs on car car have somewhere to go.

no. lug studs are bolts that you screw into the hub of the car, not a nut like our cars. like how bmw's, vw's, audi's, and ect. are setup. we have lug nuts that thread onto a fixed wheel stud, they have lug studs that thread into the hub once you have the wheel lined up.

Oh. So If I understand correctly, most german cars have lug studs that can be removed, or threaded into the hub to be taken out, while ours are fixed into the hub. Therefore, even with this adapter, the original 4x114 lug studs from our car would be sticking out as well as the 4x100 studs from the adapter. But how long are our studs? Couldn't getting a thicker adapter to cover them solve this problem? And getting a proper set of lug nuts to affix the adapter to the hub?
