I definetly do, sorry for multiple posts but im just catching up and this looks like a lost cause! Just the whole turbo swap he said, why do that when you can save and buy the GT35 straight up and he talks about fuel system and he didnt know about 440's and hes confused on the fuel pump!

What they're saying is the cheap turbo will likely leak oil past the seals, then you're gonna get oil in the engine, or worse, the turbo will fall apart and you'll get the actual turbo parts in your engine. I don't know what other cheap parts you've obtained, but the ebay BOV is notorious for being stuck open or closed and screwing you. Also, same with the ebay wastegates. I was looking at doing a cheap turbo kit too, so I know where you're coming from. But, after you look around long enough you'll realize that it's not worth the chance. Just save up like I'm doing. You can still save a lot of bucks by 1. doing the work yourself (besides tune) 2. research a lot, see what stuff is good and shop around, 3. do it right the first time and not have lots of repair. And dude, especially if you have a built engine. Man, if you really do, you don't want to mess up all that work and money with a crap FI system.

Thanks for some real advice man. Im going to see what i can do about getting good oil lines, seals etc. and make sure that everything is done right. Do you think this will hold up for the short term? because i do not plan for this to be a permanent fix what so ever come spring time once i can get cams and IM im gonna do a bigger setup but this is just for starters

I dunno man. I'm just noob who likes to read a lot and do stuff just because I want to. Honestly, know one will know how it's going to hold up till you try it.

You just dont understand where were coming from, why worry about the short term at all and see your money wasted when your motor blows from the el cheapo parts and then your gonna end up paying for the quality and getting a new motor in the process. Just save your money and wait til the springtime to buy quality parts, its coming towards the winter seasons so why rush on a short term build and half-a** your work. Thats honestly completely wasting your money. But I guess this is not real advice.

To the OP:

You posted this thread asking for advice, hence the title "Turbo Advice". Then when the people here tell you that the parts are made in China junk, you go ahead and buy it anyway, then try to justify your decision when people tell you that you made a mistake. If you were to search, here, V6P, and a handful of other forums, you would see that those no-name turbos don't hold up.

In the future, how about not starting a thread asking for advice if you already have your mind made up. It's a waste of time, and will ultimately save you a good flaming.

No one here is going to say "hell yeah buy that ****" when we know the parts are crap. Call it tough love. But most of the people here know their ****.

You didn't listen to us.

You'll learn from your mistake.

QUIT being so desperate for putting a crappy turbo on for 6 months. You dont want cheap parts in your car. Im just a noob on here but i always wait to buy stuff for my car because i save my money for better quality parts. In the end its all worth while. Forget the turbo are you even running a cl type s 6 speed? dont think for a second that the 6th gen auto tranny can hold up to that, they have a hard enough time holding their own weight. Nuff said....

yeah...you wanted advice and you got it...i know it sounds whack but its the truth..this works for everything..and i know from experience..i needed some advice for headlights and i wanted the ebay halo projectors .because they looked all cool.and i had my mind made up on what i wanted though i wanted other opinions anyway..everyone told me **** that **** its whack and not worth the money..save up and get a retro if u want sick projectors..but i didnt take anyones advice and i went along and bought those egay projectors and sure enough 6 months later i was regretting it when i realized that they suck and i should've saved a little more money and had more patience and get some retros...but nooo i was too desperate and i wanted it now!!!!!!! so now i'm barely saving for some good retros...i realized what they told me was true and for my own good...so i see u in the same position as i was but a different thing ..in ur case turbo which is a huge mod ..so u better think twice man unless u got bank!!
