They only offer one type of spring rate, see page one. They're stiff enough for street, trust me.

I have the new version of the Type I's on my car, and I freaking am in love with them! They seem to be properly valved and are very pretty and handle amazingly!! They are pretty stiff coilovers, but it's not a jarring ride, they're still rather comfy and won't break your back. Make sure when you get these to not adjust by the preload... adjust height only by spinning the lower mount. Adjusting by the preload can mess up the comfort levels.

These are really hard to adjust when you have all the bolts tightened and the wheels on. That's the only thing I dislike. You have to take the wheel off and probably use air tools to take off the bolts holding the suspension, then you can spin the bottom mount. The only reason they made them this way was to get stiff suspension but retain comfort. :D which is good!! There's also one more thing, the new tophats do make a small squeeking noise, but it's barely audible even when you have no noise in the car.

I'd recommend Type I to those on a budget, because sometimes you don't need all that damper adjustability when they come pretty properly valved and dampened.

Plus these can drop you to the floor!!

I am on a budget, but I want a stiff ride as possible. This is why I am desperately searching for coilovers with dampening adjustment.

In your opinion, how stiff are the type-Is? i see a lot of people saying they are stiff, but comfortable, and that really doesn't help me much, except for the fact that these are the same people who probably say Ground Control coilover sleeves are stiff but I think mine ride like a Caddilac, which I do not want.
