^^yep, the pistons make the difference. you're 6mt, you don't have **** to worry about, lol

and dinzdale, i did lower my innovatives 1/2", and the motor fit snugly under the hood that way until i got the p2r plenums

did u try cutting recess' in the ribs? (inner frame work of the hood )

ps: that bump in the hoood idea isnt bad.. i might look into it.. only ****ty thing is buy a whole hood just to get the bump.. i can prob get a used or aftermarket M3 hood for cheap tho...but i dont think that would be wide enough because the engine isnt centerd in the engine bay hmmmmmmmm so it would have to stretch pretty much across the entire middle

You need to get your *** up here in portland and we can pull a few runs together lol :naughty:.

Medford is very far away. Do you come up here a lot?, I wish I knew someone like you before I took my car to some dickheads for my 5 speed swap.
i come up just to enjoy the nightlife, maybe 10x/year, but i've never tooled the accord up there. there are a few v6p members there too, one guy has an sc'd j30 6mt. the closest dyno to me is eugene, with the 2nd closest in p-town. i may have to resort to it when the break-in is done.
btw who did your swap? unnatural?

yeah, the possibilities are endless. the hood support ribs are trimmed now, but the front of the front plenum is still too high. i actually think the m3 bump would be enough, although it wouldn't be centered sorta like the older rx7's :/

I can't believe I'm late to this party...

Your engine bay is epic, I can't imagine how many people you could shut up on the street off the line.

I hope you have this insane madman laugh too so it makes it so much more gratifying haha.

One thing you could do with the 3.2 label is just shave off that whole section including the Acura emblem and leave the car completely emblem-less? Its up to you, but its worth considering aesthetically.

No, I should have done it myself. It was RaceDezign....I did the other 30% of the work they ****ed up on and I spent 1,800$ for them to do the job they should have done. I still find things they halfassed, like one of the starter bolts was only finger tight. Other misc. things like that. Don't go to racedezign, ****em!. I hope to God they go out of business. BTW, the desk guy was pretty cool. Other than that, it was a freaking rice shop with little teenage kids and trophies everywhere. The only reason I went there is because I thought the old owner still owned the business, he was pretty cool. I should have taken my car to Pacwest in salem, I heard they are good....

My goodness, that car is pure sex. I don't even wanna ask how much you've paid for that, but I'm sure its worth it.
Maybe.

Regardless, beautiful work.

And yes, it would be cool to see a vid or 2.

Just cut the inner frame work like I did :)
Any IM spacers?

I guess your looking to make 360whp on low boost.

thanks again for the comments, you guys are badass. 360 on low boost is right about what i'm expecting with the 5at.

I do have the p2r thermoblock gasket on the runners since the plenums don't fit w/o it. and yes, the inner framework is already cut out of the hood and the innovative mounts are lowered 1/2". i mentioned it earlier, but i had the motor fitting snugly under the hood until i bolted the plenums on--now the front plenum is what's causing the hood mod D:

i'll get videos up once the motor is broken-in. as it is, i can already tell it's a torque-monster
