I had 2 questions.. 1. I need some tips on a cheap way I can get some extra horsepower out of my car.

there are none. if you want more power, you really have to go fi to have anything worthwhile. nitrous, turbo, or some type of custom s/c setup.

2nd. my car has a v-tec engine. What exactly is v-tec? what does it do? and how does it work? etc.
