I cant believe how many of you Hondahaters are on 6thgenAccord. The way you guys talk as if there is nothing you can do to your car that makes hp. I cant work you guys out?? maybe you have never picked up a spanner in your life. Well wickypedia has the history of my car for the 6thgenaccord. It says it's got 200hp at the crank and the 4 banger has 150hp at the crank. Dont believe me?? go google it.

I have my car doing a 7 second 0-60 pass and my brothers accord on youtube. but I am not going to show you guys cause you all seem like hondahaters

And that guy's youtube video of the 6gen accord v6 its a automatic. not hard to hear the sound difference to a manual

another thing I have just came from a cb7 that I modded out. And achieved alot from bolt on mods.

The reason I ask you guys what is the best mod for our cars is becuase i have just brought it. Dose not mean I dont know anything about cars.

I could you give you guys atleast 20 hidden hp tips for you cars, but forget it. I dont talk to hondahaters

Oh and yes, Accords are fast, they're definitely faster than some guy running across the street or riding his bike along the side of the road.

and to the OP, listen. The people here don't hate their cars. heck i love my car but to face the fact it's not very fast. I have an Injen intake, DC Sport headers, and HKS exhaust but i maybe got 10hp more at most with name brand dyno proven stuff. the only way to realistically see gains with what you have would be to have a real tune or use a Uni-chip. a $60 ebay chip won't give you any realistic gains and will most likely damage your engine. yes it has a 3 year warranty but that's for when the "chip" breaks, not your car. Now we're not saying that our cars are the slowest thing out there or don't have any hidden hp but with cheap ebay crap you're not going to bring it out. The hidden hp for the v6's can only really be reviled by swaping out your 4spd AT for a 6spd. then you'll probably be getting the desired 0-60 times, if not better than 6.5secs. In order to get a v6 4spdAT to get a 6.5 0-60 or better it'll cost a ton of $ and not even be worth it in the end because by that time your tranny will be dead anyways. Now i'm not trying to put you down but i'm just telling you the truth.

my tranny has been fine so far it has done 213,000 thousand ks and shifts like smooth as butter. my mate has one with over 200,00 thousand ks and his has been fine.

do you have the 4 banger cause if ya do you need to ride in a 3.0 v6 auto or manual, there quick . quicker than most cars on the road. sell ya 4 banger automatic sounds like and get a v6

AND READ THE HISTORY WHERE THE 3.0 v6 came from. honda used the v6 in one of the sportscars i dont mean the accord coup either learn ya history go google it. for the guy who is not to smart and said it will cost alot to get ya car to do a 6.5 sec 0-60. here is a youtube video of guy doing it with just bolt ons in his auto v6 6gen

lemme set the record straight. a CG is not a CB7. the j30 is a piss poor v6 engine in terms of power (200bhp is laughable) and the automatic transmission is one of the worst ever put on a honda vehicle. 0-60 in 7 seconds is slow. we know what the bhp ratings of our cars are, we've been telling you this all thread. most of us in this thread have seen the results of people who have modded the hell out of their f23's: http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24665&page=2 and people who've done what they could to the j30 and realized they needed more: http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24223

we know this platform better than you do. we know what these cars are and how they perform on the road. There isn't a difference between a manual and auto transmission sound in a car, because the engine should be making the sound not the tranny, unless you're running a dog box or something is wrong.

next time you want real help check your ego at the door and we'll gladly help you out, but since you seem to know twenty (definitely not an arbitrary number to throw out) ways to unlock hp i don't understand why you're asking us for help.... you seem to know everything already.

show us proof of you dragging a v8 commodore and "hanging with it" and we might believe you. so far all you've done is run your mouth, why don't you back up what you're saying with proof? its okay if you can't since that would require your car to do magical things like achieve insane power gains from worthless parts.

Vid #1 was Joepro, who was a member here for a while.

Vid #2: Automatic 300's are slow as ****, I know, my dad had one.

Vid #3: The Mustang was a 94 5.0. 210 CHP.

Vid #4: The Accord got pulled.

Vid #5: The Eclipse was a 4cyl GS

Vid #6: Another 4cyl Eclipse 140 CHP.

All of you vids were accord racing against cars with equal or less HP. With the exception of the 04 GT, that has 270 CHP, and obviously pulled the Accord.
