Well my 98 lx sedan doesnt have a grill at all because it got hit and you can see throught it . So would i be able to put a grill on it like the type-r or its only for coupes?

The only thing is I don't know if you want it made out of plastic, although it's not like a lip where you could knock it off driving over a curb or something. You'd have to get into an accident before that thing would break.
I don't know how the particular one in the link installs, so I can't tell you whether or not you will have to take off your bumper. If you do, it's one of the easiest parts of your car to get on and off. Don't be afraid of it, it's just six 10mm bolts and a bunch of plastic tabs. Besides, taking your bumper off gives you much more room to operate.


Like I said, bumpers are a piece of cake to get on and off. Read up on these forums or better yet, get the Haynes Manual. It's got diagrams, pictures, and step-by-step teardowns of every part of our car.
You should be able to install that grill in less than 2 hours.
Any DIY grill installation?
No, not the ones holding down your headlights! There are two more 10mm bolts. Hold your knees against the bumper as you remove them so that it doesn't just drop as soon as you undo the last one.
