dont think it would make any difference. aren't the covers on just for safety reasons?

You dont want debris and dirt to collect on the timing belt. It could cause pre mature failure, thats why they are covered. Why would you want to drive without them anyways? People are asking strange **** on here lately.

This is the strangest one I've seen so far. It's not safe because the bottom of your engine bay isn't covered so dirt and debris can fly into it that way. What happens if you just so happen to hit a huge rock? It could damage your belt and possibly ruin your car forever.

If you removed it, will your car be lighter? :buttkick:

Seriously, things are better left untouched. I learn that for a fact.

I dont know why everyone is acting so weird towards this question. I have seen it time and time again with no cover leaving the cam gear(s) open. I think it looks pretty beastly without it on.

he's talking about this, thats for people who adjust their camgears often. only full blown race cars that aren't Daily Driven do this.

Could you drive without the timing belt covers? Will it effect the engine at all?
sure, you can drive without one.
they are just covers, and covers add extra weight that we dont need right? so yeah take it all off.
does cover has any effect on engine itself? no.
