Ryans, I never said hyundai stole mitsu engines, I was making a point that some manufacturers have to start somewhere such as hyundai using mitsu motors. Once they established themselves as a reliable company they started producing their own engines.

I'm sure many of us can google the same things you did for a reply, so good job, I guess?

Good point, we should just remove tbe forum too. Or maybe we can share information that we know and have discussions about products without trying to pass off googled or wiki information as our own. I know some people have to establish themselves as the smarter of the bunch, but sometimes its unecessary when a simple discussion is being held.

To get back on topic a little, this geely manufacturer is trying to esablish themselves in a big market by copying or immitating other manufacturers products that have done well in the market. If they can make enough sales to warrant a production line of their own design team then they would have achieved their goal. Is it ridiculous to see thi? Yeah it is. Is it frustrating to the original manufacturers who spent time designing these cars? Probably not considering they HAVE established themselves, make great quality cars, and probably laugh at the silly immitations that geely has come up with.
