Hairline crack on top of radiator

if it's just the plastic that's cracked some radiator shops can rebuild them for like 30-40 bucks ... i had my brothers rebuilt about two years ago on his eclipse gsx ... no problems yet

well i went ahead and got a new one just cause knowing that it was leaking it was just on my mind. now just gotta wait for this rain to stop so i can install it. i hope to get it in today.

well didnt get to put it in today, i hate this weather. so ill get it in on my next day off which will be on tues.

I had a hairline crack on mine last week and had it replaced it at the local Midas. The radiator cap on the original Honda radiator didn't say 'Valeo' or 'Denso' and the new one doesn't either. The guy at Midas told me that only one of the two brands was available at their parts place and installed the one that was available. I do have a one year warranty, but how do I check if I got the right radiator installed?

:eh: Radiators don't come with caps... those are separate.

That is what I thought, but I asked the tech at Midas and he told me that he was surprised that the new radiator came with a cap. The new cap is a little different from the old cap that was on the original radiator and I couldn't get the old cap to fit on the new radiator.
