btw, one thing i dont understand are those signs that say report drunk drivers by calling 911 on the freeway...when it's illegal to talk on your phone(w/o blue tooth) on the freeway. kind of a catch 22 imo

tsk tsk.. you see my friend, first you pull into the emergency/breakdown lane, stop the car and THEN call 911.

..I see cops on their cells all the time. I know it helps break up the monotony of patrolling their sectors but...I think they should lead by example.

i think that driving and talking on the phone is no big deal...most of the cars on the road have automatic transmissions and power steering...if you take away those...it can be dangerous...a law should be passed?

...maybe not...i want cops looking for dangerous drivers not rule breakers...if you are driving dangerously you should be pulled over whether you are talking on the phone or eating a burger...i think it's a dumb law set in place by old people who resent younger people who can do more than one thing at a time...not saying that it's the safest thing...but saying that there are allot of factors that should be taken into consideration at the discretion of police officers....

i would rather a human being make a decision that something is dangerous than having them see someone breaking the law and give a ticket if it's someone using a cell phone and driving normally...

i should also mention that if he buys something, like a ps3 game, he'll open it in the car, even while driving.

he cut the back of my hand wide open once since he wanted to open a paintball gun while driving. he noobed up the knife usage while my hand was on the wheel.

memories... :lawl:

this law blows...but its still the law....

but it should be that if u do anythin that deters ur focus from the road....should be illegal...

if talkin on the phone is not allowed...then eating while driving should not allowed.....puttin on make up while driving should not allowed....

and i bet even if i saw a cop talkin on his cell phone...if i take my phone to take a picture of him talkin on his cell phone while driving that i would get a ticket for using my phone while driving....

and if this was serious ****....how come Maria Shriver didnt get shiet wen she was caught twice in the same day doin that shiet....

i'll be honest, i talk on the phone and drive at the same time. it's really not hard to do both safely, but is it understandable why it's a law because a lot of people can't keep their concentration on the road while talking on the phone. And i have seen quite a few officers
blatantly breaking this law.

Actually the cop said that I should have just ignored my phone, no incoming or outgoing calls allowed UNLESS they're for 911.
