I hope that $8600 is inclusive of the value of your car.. and tranny swap combined.

Tranny swap and what I still owed on my car. Put it all together in a low rate secure loan. Building good credit never felt so good.

But the money is not an issue. I love my accord and plan on putting more money into my accord as time gos on. Plus she is sitting pretty at 84,000 miles. I've been modifying cars now for 9 years now. It is a huge passion and part of my life. I don't look at my accord and think how much money I've spent. But I am also responsible and I don't neglect my responsibilities by spending money irresponsibly and always stay alert about my financial state.

My car has been running. The tranny isn't completely dead yet but it is very erratic and unreliable. I've had to wait longer than expected since I had to wait for practically all the swap parts to be shipped from South Carolina due to lack of part resources from around my area. All the parts should be delivered by later today. Then we are going to make sure we've got all the parts needed. This week should have some major updates and probably completion. I'm just trying to remain patient. I didn't think it would've taken so long to finally source all the parts, but it did. Also I have to decide what stage clutch and some other fun things.

well better to wait and be patient and have all parts ready then to start the swap and be missing parts.

+100, as with any serious project. As far as clutch, the review thread should be helpful. I am using a centerforce dual friction with fidanza 8lb flywheel and its awesome, but I am 4cyl, if that makes a diff.

My shops been in contact with Richie over on v6p.net - he's sending the harness our way. Gotta pick up a small shift guage. All the main parts should be here tomorrow. Then pick up the clutch and check if the flywheel needs to be resurfaced. Sooo slowly but surely we keep on trucking along just fine
