no, thatd be a bad tint shop, as tinting over the 3rd brake light IS illegal. yea, ive seen it done, yea, they did it on my lincoln, but it is illegal to tint over the 3rd brake light.

a good shop wouldnt do it even if you requested it.

i disagree, i think it is a matter of personal preferance as to weather or not they tint over it, think about it...most states its illegal to tint front windows but they do it anyway. does that make them a bad tint shop? plus some of us have the unfortunate situation of having 4 brake lights. there is no need for it and itlooks like crap. so...black it out and tint over it and no more brake light.
back to lookin good. once blacked out and unplugged its no longer a brake light. just an ugly piece of plastic in need of covering up.

thanks for the opinion, maybe back in 2008 i wouldve cared.

idk why i said a good shop would or wouldnt do it haha. cuz like you said, its illegal to do the front windows, at least in jersey, and shops do it all the time. tinting over the 3rd brake light is illegal though. will you get pulled over for it, or ticketed for it? i doubt it. but you wont pass inspection if they see it.
