2400+ rms here and it barely moves. If you want it louder you should def upgrade your alt, get a dry cell battery like stinger or whatever (they charge and output faster - generally more money = more reserve) upgrade your power wires to 1/O and even consider dampening the car. The first place I would start is the rear deck, then trunk, then doors and so on. BTW I would invest in 1 nice 15 instead of running 2 mediocre woofers.

3000watts on a 15in sub shakes the crap outta my sunroof and rear window and windshield a bit but it wont break it....you need mayb 4000watts and have all your windows closed with sum really good subs to atleast crack the windshield.

Do our cabins limit us to such high numbers? But he did hit 148 at 43hz... Huge difference from your ~37 hz box.
I need to see what mines hit. Im hoping for 145 at least.

X2 my cb7 accord did a 143 with 4 8's on the dash and 2.5k rms. a sedan is not ideal for SPL at all.
right now i have 2 hertz 12's and 1k rms with 300 rms on the mids. debating if i wanna move the loud stuff out of the cb and into the cg....
