Why are sway bar responses getting mixed in with this thread asking about front strut tower bars? Kind of straying from an answer...

Do they make a difference by themselves or are they just used with a complete suspension overhaul?

That's the reason for the sway bar discussion.

As far as the one piece bar, as mentioned numerous times the ones to get are the acura tl/cl front upper strut bar if you're on a budget or the Neuspeed if you're not.

You can get the Acura bar at any Acura dealer, or just order it from the vendor here. As far as the Neuspeed bar, a quick Google search yielded this:

$130 for the 4-pt bar in black or polished finish.

Maybe giving you some examples of specific setups will help

I am currently running:

1. Acura TL Strut Bar
2. Neuspeed Strut Bar
3. OEM front 27mm Sway Bar
4. Progress 24mm Rear Swap Bar
5. Generic Rear Lower Tie Rod Bar
6. Cusco Front Lower Tie Bar (removed)
7. Eibach Sportline Springs
8. Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks

So, there you have an example of what you can do, suspension wise, either all of that, or some of it. You will notice a signficant difference in handling, with the exception of the Cusco Lower Tie Bar.

how far does the cusco front lower tie bar hang? ... will it get demolished if your pretty low? ... also did you have to get your car realigned when installed the rear lower tie bar? ... thanks

1. About 1" below the heat shield
2. Mine and t.blackaccord's took a pretty good beating, yes.
3. No, my issue is camber more than alignment, although I am sure I could do with an alignment now.

I'd like to see pictures of the strut bars as well as the rear sway if it's not too much trouble.

Are you still using stock sway bar links?

I was just curious as to why there are no aftermarket front sways??

I was reading in either this thread or another one that strut bars should have at least 3 mount points on each side to be a solid performer. Just curious as to what you think. The neuspeed looks awesome especially that it's a one piece but I noticed only 2 mount points on each side. Do you think that's enough?

I think that, because of the design of the Neuspeed bar, a third mounting point would be unnecessary. Right now I'm using the NRG Flat bar, which has 3 mounting points, but if I were to change it out I would go with the Neuspeed.
