have you ever used a litebrite? same principle...instead of putting the red peg into the place marked "red," you just hook the lovely color-coded red wires together...the harness for the radio and the harness to adapt to the car are usually even pre-stripped :lawl:

i think installdr is still around...well, i see they only have 99+ instructions, but toyota evolves, like honda or porsche :lawl: they dont really radically change. check it out http://www.installdr.com/installdocs/toyota/PDF/869001.asp

hhhm.... never used either.... to give u an idea of how bad my electrical skills are, it takes me 2 minutes to strip one piece of wire :hide:

Lol I'd do it for you but I'm leaving for winter break... Not that I'm some pro or anything but I've put the system in each time I've bought a car.

Search google for the instructions for removing the radio from ur make and model car, as well as the door panel if necessary (if ur car has a removeable grill)

Just buy a good crimp from sears or something, a good crimp makes a big difference.

Get the harness for the headunit from autozone or walmart, its about 10 bucks

match the HARNESS to ur headunit u cut the haress and hu to match, this way u don't have to cut ur cars wires, all the wires colors already match..u just clip the harness to the car and put it all back together

If u have the time I recommend using butt connectors or solder to hold the wires in combination with electric tape

I can do it, I'm in the san fernando valley though. Just pay for the materials and i'll put it in for free, wont take more then an hour. I've done my system plus a few of my friends.
