High beam duct DIY

lol right now? about $17 hhaha all my money is tied up in my turbo build. how much did all this cost you in parts?

if ur boosting wouldnt this mod be useless? or is the another point of it?

no it wouldn't be usless you see this on alot of boosted track cars, its used to direct fresh cold air from the front of the car into the turbo. If you read the original post he modeled this after an evo which is a turbo'd car, and if I'm not mistaken OP has a turbo'd accord....hence the user name.

word. i thought it was for intake on NA cars, guess it can be usefull both ways.

All of the parts I already had either laying around or leftover from other projects so it didn't really cost me anything but if you didn't have anything it might be around 50-75 dollars

imaricer, I am leaving my other headlight the way it is since I have no use for another duct on that side. And using this with a turbo or NA will help both since when I put my new turbo setup on I will be using an air filter in the same location with an intake tube going to the turbo inlet. Either way the cooler intake charge will help performance.

yeah it definitely could be a good mod for both N/A and turbo'd cars. even a SC car could benefit

i know u would usually only do one lol. just wanted to know if you were going to leave the other high beam working or disconnect it.

ive seen the mod done before just not on a cg headlight, its pretty cool man. i left rep.

Fa sho! Good work turboaccord! I am impressed I must say. It would be great to get this manufactured in a complete headlight form, and sold. Make good business, and will be completely unique, special order only haha.

I'd totally pay you to make me one at some point in the future. would be great for track days. Most likely wouldn't fly with my local PD for daily driving though.
