Yes, they used to be Motorex which is why it became RB Motoring which became RB Wheels and is now VR Wheels.

FWIW, I should chime in, just so you know what they are capable of.

I had a similar experience as Gilbert. Basically, when I was inquiring about the wheels before I bought them, they responded to my e-mails quickly and professionally. My main concern was that they don't really advertise the condition of the wheels in their site listings, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a project. After being told the wheels were in "immaculate" condition with almost "brand new" lips, I went for it and picked up my Leon Hardiritts.

They arrived two wheels per box, strapped together with cardboard between them, and no lip protection. I freaked out to see them packaged that way, and when I pulled them out of the box, they lips were cosmetically mutilated from the shipping process. That wasn't all though, the aluminum faces were galled under the clear powdercoat, which ruined the machine finish. The hardware was rusted, and two of the wheels had severe bends that had been half-*** repaired. I tried to contact them via e-mail and telephone for over two months and never got a response. I ended up taking it up with my credit card company and was partially reimbursed.

I put over 100 hours into restoring the wheels back to new condition, which included repairing the bends, blasting the faces and having them powdercoated, polishing the hoops, and having the hardware stripped and black-chromed.

I've seen some dope wheels come out of their warehouse, but I would never buy anything from them again without physically walking into the business and taking a look at the product.

I bought my RHC5's from them. Had I known about others experience beforehand I would have passed. I consider myself lucky to have received my wheels in the condition they stated, new. They shipped my wheels in actual RH brand boxes, tied together in pairs. They also came with the appropriate plastic wrench, allen keys, sealant and sockets that i cant figure out what for. The only damage was on one wheel that got abrasive scratches from the box. IE no bubble wrap. I'm confident ScratchX will fix. But the lips did have plastic wrap. There was also minor scratches on the back plates from trying to mount them on a car. They also had quick email response.

You forget that I bought from them and they ripped me for $1400. LOL!

Anyways, Justin, it's best to see the wheels in person to check for bends on the barrel AND the lip. Their other business (Arcade Infinity) was shut down recently because they couldn't pay the city permits and fees to keep it open but from what I remember, Jack and his crew (That owns RB wheels/Motorex/RB Motoring/Arcade Infinity/now VR Wheels) are shady characters to deal with.

Arcade infinity didnt close down. The county gave them an extension ad they're deciding if they can say open or not.

If you are ordering a set of rims from them.............. make sure you are full re-finishing/disassemble the rims from ground up.

i know because i ordered 2 set of rims from them and both sets required full rebuild.

Scary. Even more so with the high profile wheels they sell, and the money that is involved. Weird that there are experiences from opposite ends of the spectrum, maybe they have been going through a series of management/staffing changes...?
