^ yep. once you set it to your liking you just leave it there until you wanna adjust it again. FF does not have the tein EDFC feature where you can electronically adjust it from a control module mounted inside your car anywhere you like.

no i know that. i was just asking him if he ever adjusts it. the reason i ask is cause like i said my streets are bad where i live but in the winter time i go to the mountains a lot so i figure id adjust it for when i hit up the slopes for better handling. im just trying to get an inquiry of how much ppl adjust there dampening and if its really a good thing to have to which im leaning towards yes it is.

Since it seems you change your driving habits quite a bit by going to the mountains.. I would suggest to get some coilovers with dampening adjustment.

But I've never changed my settings ever since I had it installed more than 2 years ago. Then again, I just cruise and don't do anything crazy.

See thats the thing too. Would I ever really change it. Is it a hassle to change or you just prefer the setting your on? How come you chose adjustable ones over non adjustable?

i chose type 2's because i just wanted the best product for the money. adjustable dampening for around 850 is a price you can't really beat for the quality you get as well.

i like to leave it on the stiffest setting if i drive daily on smooth roads. i usually leave it on the softest for a drive more than an hour drive for comfort.
the only problem i have with adjusting is the rears. on the sedans we have to take off the side cushions, fold the seats down, remove a plastic cover(which is a little tricky for your first time), then reach and turn the little knob...

i have heard that you need to dampen them according to your spring rate or something so it's better for the shocks. i haven't looked into that so if you're interested you could. pm NASOHC about that.

you can get k sports for less and they are the same product, adjustable dampening is worth every penny

if you can't go too low i'd consider tein's, very comfortable ride by comparison and they go relatively low considering how much gap our cars have

The KSports are pretty much the same price as FF and Megan. Now im split between D2 RS Coils or the FF type 2's still. All Coils are $800+ with dampening. So i guess it'll just come down to price and what reviews i read about em.

FYI.. the newer Megan EZ Streets are about $650 and have dampening adjustability as well.
