FYI.. the newer Megan EZ Streets are about $650 and have dampening adjustability as well.

ya i saw those ones too. haven't really heard anything about megan tho except from the two post above so ill have to do some searching n figure out if i wanna go the megan route

You could check out v6p. More people are running Megan setups over there.

id open up a thread to ask about them on that forum but because i havent made ten post i cant so im stuck just looking around n not really getting a straight up answer, thanks tho for the help

Thanks man both those helped out. I was already leaning towards the D2's and now im 95% of the way there in getting them. Unless an unbeatable price comes up for FF or Megans but for now just gotta wait a week then buy my coilers cant wait!

and also i have a question if you could help me answer it.
i plan on putting in my coilovers myself with a buddy of mine and i have heard you need to get ur alignment done after you change out ur suspension. is this true? or just preference?
and also vie been looking for DIY on installing new coilovers on 6GA but cant seem to find any that are helpful with step by step instructions. or maybe im just not looking hard enough

i think you should get an alignment ASAP after u lower ur car because all the camber and watnot will be all diferent and uneven all over..i mean you can drive around with out an alignment but your tire were will be all fudged up..i got mine 3 days after i lowered it

Usually people say to wait a week after installing new coilovers/springs to let it "settle," but I think after driving it a couple days is fine. Just don't drive all crazy.

You should get an alignment maybe twice a year or after you've hit a bit pothole or something.

you know of any DIY for installing coilovers on coupes? gunna be doing it with a buddy of mine who's installed coilovers on his GTI and a couple other cars but id like a walk through with pics on a 6GA coupe just to be safe. cant seem to find any looking around
